Do you know someone that that dedicates their time to taking care of a loved one or someone in their community? Nominate them for the Darlington Caregiver Award! To celebrate the commitment and sacrifice the caregiver has made, the Pilot Club of Darlington Annual Caregiver Award is open for nominations to recognize and award a deserving caregiver with an award and a cash prize of $500. Nominees must be a resident of Darlington County and have served as an unpaid caregiver for another person within the last year. Responsibilities of this caregiver must include at least one of the following duties: personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and general health of their care recipients.

The 2026 Caregiver Award will be awarded during the 2026 SC Sweet Potato Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Deadline for submissions is September 18.
